The Sixth Judicial Cicuit’s Judicial Nominating Commission Tuesday announced a list of six candidates to fill a vacancy on the Pinellas County Court.
The commission named Jeffrey Albinson, Heather Fleming, Aaron Hubbard, Nicole Pearlman, Philip Piazza and Natalie Scruggs as possible replacements to be appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis.
One of the six will replace Judge Brian Gnage. Gnage, a Pinellas County Court judge, was recently elevated to serve on the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court by DeSantis. He was appointed to the County Court in January 2021 after serving 10 years as assistant state attorney in Pinellas and Pasco counties.
