Gov. Ron DeSantis has appointed Largo attorney Aaron Hubbard as judge on the Pinellas County Court.
Hubbard will fill the vacancy created by the promotion of Judge Brian Gnage, who DeSantis appointed to serve as judge in the 6th Judicial Circuit back in January.
Hubbard was one of six candidates recommended by the Sixth Judicial Cicuit’s Judicial Nominating Commission.
Hubbard previously served as an assistant state attorney in Florida’s 13th Judicial Circuit since 2007 and currently serves as a felony division chief. He received his bachelor’s degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and his law degree from Western Michigan University.
