The Gentlemen’s Quest of Tampa has provided scholarships to 12 graduating high school seniors around Tampa Bay.
The East Tampa-based nonprofit awarded the scholarships, which range from $500 to $5000, to students who have faced serious hardships, like academic challenges, financial restraints or family adversity.
“All students have the capacity to learn and succeed if given the necessary resources and the access to the resources needed to succeed,” the program’s executive director, Tavis Myrick, said in a statement. “Our goal is to ensure that we prepare students for life and GQ will continue to support all students in Hillsborough County.
