Crypto-themed restaurant opens in Clearwater Beach

Ever wanted to try a “Dogedog” hot dog? What about a “Crypto Cuban”?

Well, now you can — a new crypto-themed bistro on Clearwater Beach opened earlier this month. The  Crypto Street Restaurant , which offers American and Hispanic dishes, is painted in references to the dystopian-currency, including bitcoin symbols, rocket ships and quotes from Elon Musk.

The r estaurant, which accepts all cryptocurrencies, sits on the ground level of the Coronado Drive Residence Inn.  The owner, Ricardo Varona, told the Tampa Bay Times he hopes the spot can get more people interested in crypto — and he’s already helped some customers get started.
