For a second year in a row Tampa General Hospital is a top three Florida hospital and a top 100 hospital nationwide, according to Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospital’s 2023 list.
“This recognition is a true testament to our exceptional team at Tampa General Hospital, who tirelessly deliver world-class patient care every day,” TGH CEO John Couris said.
TGH was one of 2,200 hospitals from 28 countries evaluated. TGH ranked No. 84 overall out of 414 hospitals in the United States, placing the academic medical center within the top 20 percentile of American medical centers ranked on Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals.
