by The 100 Companies

The building that previously housed German restaurant Hofbräuhaus St. Pete has sold for $7.1 million, the Tampa Bay Business Journal reported.

The building, located in downtown St. Pete, has been closed for business since 2020. The property was purchased by a group tied to the owner of Washington, D.C.-based Wiseguy Pizza franchise, according to the Business Journal.

The restaurant, set at 123 Fourth St. S, along with its parking lot, was sold by Woodsgroup Holdings LLC.

The owners of the since closed German restaurant and beer hall bought the building from the Tampa Bay Times in 2014 for $2.7 million.
