Pinellas County students, teachers ride for free on PSTA buses

by The 100 Companies

The Pinellas County School Board has approved a new partnership with Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority to give all students and staff free bus rides starting on New Years’ Day.

Students and staff of Pinellas County schools can ride for free by showing their student or staff ID to the PTSA driver. The program is by UPASS, an agreement between the school district and PTSA.

“Not only will our students and staff have free public transit to and from campus, they will also enjoy free PTSA bus service after school hours and on weekends,” said Pinellas County Schools Superintendent Michael Grego.
