Chick-fil-A without the controversy in Gulfport

For those hoping for a meat-free alternative to Chick-fil-A’s famous (and controversial) chicken sandwiches, look no further than Golden Dinosaurs in Gulfport, just a stone’s throw from St. Pete proper.

The small cafe boasts an entirely vegan menu with options to satiate even the most ardent meat-eater. That includes its Chick-fil-Nay sandwich made with fried seitan, housemade bread n’ butter pickles and Dino Sauce on a toasted brioche bun.

In a dig to Chick-fil-A’s anti-LGBTQ bent, Golden Dinosaurs is donating a portion of proceeds in June to Metro Inclusive Health so you can enjoy a sammy, minus the guilt.
