When asked why I’m running for St. Petersburg City Council the answer is simple: I believe in St. Petersburg. I believe in the potential of our community, and I want our city to thrive.
As the daughter of a St. Petersburg police officer I learned very young the importance of public service. For two decades I’ve worked with women, suddenly homeless families, individuals with addictions and chronically hungry children.
I am also a 24-year cancer survivor, advocate, and voice for the underserved. I pledge to work tirelessly to make our streets safer, fix our sewer system and keep taxes low.
