State Sen. Darryl Rouson is endorsing Lisset Hanewicz in her bid for the District 4 seat on St. Petersburg City Council.
Rouson has served the city as a state Legislator since 2008. Rouson and Hanewicz are both former prosecutors.
“Lisset has the courage to speak the truth on the most important issues, such as how to fight crime, affordable housing, and protecting our environment,” Rouson said. “She will work to give government the tools and resources needed to get the job done.”
Hanewicz faces Raymond James executive Tom Mullins to succeed Darden Rice on City Council in the November General Election.
