Basketball season for USF men’s and women’s teams begins Monday with a doubleheader at the Yuengling Center.
The women play Morehead State at 5:30, and the men follow at 8 p.m. against Southeast Missouri State.
The men had an 8-23 record a year ago. Coach Brian Gregory hopes to correct that this season with three high-level transfers to add scoring punch: Keyshawn Bryant, Tyler Harris, and Selton Miguel.
The women, who had a 24-9 record last year, also added three transfers: Sammie Puisis, Priscilla Williams, and Caitlin McGee. Voters in the AAC preseason poll chose USF to finish first.
