Bolts return to home ice after successful road trip

by The 100 Companies

The Lightning return to Tampa on Tuesday against Ottawa to start a four-game homestand.

Tampa Bay knocked off San Jose 4-3 on the road Saturday to complete a three-game west coast road swing. The Bolts won two of those games. Seven of their nine games so far have been away from home.

“You go on these road trips, which, being in our geographic region, we go on four- and five-gamers and three-gamers,” Coach Jon Cooper said.

“If you can pull out more points than games, you’ll put yourself in a really good position if you win your games at home.”
