If you thought the Bucs were bad last week in losing at Pittsburgh, Sunday’s 21-3 loss at Carolina seemed like an early Halloween nightmare.
The Panthers were 1-5, playing third-string quarterback P.J. Walker and traded star running back Christian McCaffrey earlier in the week. Walker completed 16 of 22 passes and had two touchdowns.
Tampa had a meager 46 yards rushing, and receiver Mike Evans dropped a sure touchdown pass on the Bucs’ opening series.
The Bucs fell to 3-4.
Bucs quarterback Tom Brady hasn’t had a losing record this late in the season since 2002 with New England.
