Busch Gardens has announced a new thrill ride that will fling riders at speeds reaching 68 mph.
The theme park is set to open the Serengeti Flyer next spring. The ride is designed with twin arms that swing back and forth, reaching a 135-foot height at its peak.
Riders will be seated back-to-back in rows of 10 across two gondolas. In total, it holds 40 riders. As the ride swings, riders will have multiple negative-G moments and soar above the theme park’s expansive, 65-acre Serengeti Plain.
The “screaming swing” will be the world’s tallest and fastest ride of its kind.
