There is no such thing as a bad win in the National Football League. For the time being, that’s the Bucs’ story, and they’re sticking to it.
They nearly let a three-touchdown lead get away Sunday before holding off Atlanta 21-16 to improve to 3-2 and take over first place in the NFC South.
“There’s no easy games; you’ve got to play good,” quarterback Tom Brady said. “Certainly, five games in, we’ve got a lot of work to do.”
The Bucs led 21-0 entering the fourth quarter, but Atlanta scored two TDs and a two-point conversion to make things uncomfortable.
