Lightning ready for another Stanley Cup run

by The 100 Companies

The Lightning begin their quest for a fourth consecutive trip to the Stanley Cup Finals as their season begins with a trip to the New York Rangers.

The Bolts’ first three games are on the road before their home opener on Oct. 18 against Philadelphia.

Tampa Bay finished the preseason Saturday with a 5-2 win over Florida. It was the Lightning’s only exhibition win. Vladislav Namestnikov had a hat trick for the Bolts.

“If we didn’t win a game, that would’ve been a little humbling,” Coach Jon Cooper said. “We took one tonight, but it’s over. None of them count.”
