Punchless Bulls take a beating at Louisville

by The 100 Companies

Beating Louisville on the road was always going to be a challenge for the USF Bulls. Trying to do it with their top four receivers sidelined by injuries proved to be impossible.

The one-dimensional Bulls were routed 41-3 by the Cardinals, finishing the non-conference portion of their schedule with a 1-3 record.

With receivers Xavier WeaverJimmy Horn Jr., Khafre Brown and Ajou Ajou unable to play, the Cardinals concentrated on stopping the run. They were successful, holding USF to just 48 yards on the ground.

The Bulls will open American Athletic Conference play Saturday at home against East Carolina.
