The mutual disdain the Bucs and New Orleans Saints have for each other bubbled over into a bench-clearing brawl Sunday, and it appeared to ignite the Bucs in their 20-10 victory.
Tampa Bay’s Mike Evans and cornerback Marshon Lattimore of the Saints were ejected for their roles in the fight.
The score was 3-3 at the time, but the Bucs scored the next 17 points to salt the game away.
It was especially sweet for quarterback Tom Brady, who was 0-4 against the Saints in the regular season since joining the Bucs.
The Bucs, 2-0, host Green Bay on Sunday.
