Bucs’ offensive linemen keep falling

by The 100 Companies

The Bucs suddenly have a critical shortage of offensive line depth.

Guard Aaron Stinnie suffered a torn ACL and MCL in his left knee during Saturday’s exhibition loss at Tennessee and will be lost for the season. Stinnie was in a three-way battle to replace retired Pro Bowler Ali Marpet at left guard.

That competition is now between second-year player Nick Leverett and Luke Goedeke, this year’s second-round pick.

The Bucs previously lost center Ryan Jensen to a serious knee injury. Also, right tackle Tristan Wirfs pulled an oblique muscle last week but should be ready when the season starts.
