Rowdies great run hits a speedbump in Louisville

by The 100 Companies

The Rowdies’ 13-game unbeaten streak ended Saturday with a tough 1-0 loss at division-leading Louisville FC.

The home team scored in the 63rd minute and made the lone goal hold up. The loss dropped Tampa Bay into third place in the USL’s Eastern Conference standings.

Head coach Neill Collins was critical of his team’s performance. He pointed to Tampa Bay’s multiple lost opportunities

“We can live with a defeat, especially away to Louisville. That’s always a tough place to come. But it’s more the performance that really disappoints me,” he said. “I don’t think the team did themselves justice tonight.”
