Bulls show some promise in their initial scrimmage

by The 100 Companies

USF’s football team showed some good things and some other things that need correction in the Bulls’ first intrasquad scrimmage.

In other words, the 110-play scrimmage went about as expected.

“There’s a lot we have to clean up, a lot we have to improve, but also many things we can build upon,” Head Coach Jeff Scott said. “That sounds about right for a first scrimmage.”

Quarterbacks Timmy McClain and Baylor transfer Gerry Bohanon showed some flash. McClain had a 60-yard touchdown pass to Clemson transfer wide receiver Ajou Ajou.

Bohanon threw a 31-yard scoring strike to wide receiver Jimmy Horn.
