Port Tampa Bay President and CEO Paul Anderson has announced the hiring of Laura Lenhart as its new vice president of government affairs. In the new role, Lenhart will be responsible for advocating on behalf of Port Tampa Bay and its stakeholders to implement legislative policies and secure sponsors for appropriations’ requests.
Port Tampa Bay is the state’s largest seaport, supporting 85,000 direct and indirect jobs.
Lenhart has nearly 15 years of experience in government affairs.
“I am thrilled that Laura has chosen to bring her knowledge and experience to Port Tampa Bay to advocate for our needs,” Anderson said.
