Gus Bilirakis recently took part in a roundtable discussion on how Medicare Advantage plans help Florida seniors. The Tarpon Springs Republican was joined by leaders from HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital, Meals on Wheels of Pasco County, and Elder Options.
The panelists shared their personal and professional experiences with the program and highlighted the health care challenges faced by Florida seniors, 2.5 million of whom receive coverage through the Medicare Advantage program.
During the roundtable, Bilirakis expressed staunch support for the “outstanding program.” He later added, “We can build on all the success we’ve had with Medicare Advantage.”
