Rowdies rout Pittsburgh, head home for Pride Night

by The 100 Companies

Behind two goals from Leo Fernandes, the Rowdies mashed the Pittsburgh Riverhounds 5-2 Saturday at Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh. It was the Riverhounds’ first home pitch loss this season.

Pittsburgh scored first, but it was all Tampa Bay after that. The Rowdies scored the next five goals to secure the win.

“You’ve gotta come out and really perform in a difficult environment like this, and I think we really did that,” Rowdies Coach Neill Collins said.

The Rowdies return home Saturday to celebrate Pride Night against Memphis 901 FC. Tickets are $29 and include a limited edition Rowdies Pride Hat.
