Following a 2-1 road win Saturday over Miami FC, the Rowdies are off until Saturday, when they host Charleston Battery at Al Lang Stadium. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
A penalty kick conversion early in the second half by midfielder Leo Fernandes put Tampa Bay ahead by two goals and the Rowdies held on from there.
The Rowdies are 4-0-1 in their last five games and have climbed into third place in the Eastern Conference of the United Soccer League. They trail first-place Memphis by two points.
Saturday is Pride Night for the game between the Rowdies and Battery.
