The Lightning’s quest for a three-peat Stanley Cup championship begins Monday with the opening of a best-of-seven game series against Toronto.
The Bolts were 2-1-1 this season against Toronto, including an 8-1 win on April 21. The Maple Leaves have not won a postseason series since 2004 and lost in the opening round in their past five playoff appearances.
After a Wednesday game, the Lightning return to Amalie Arena on Friday and Sunday.
The Bolts are led by Steven Stamkos, who recently became their all-time leading scorer. He also hit the 100-point milestone for the first time in his hockey career.
