Pinellas County Commissioner Dave Eggers has now raised $70,880 since launching his re-election bid, which he raised between his campaign and affiliated political committee, Friends of Dave Eggers.
In March, his campaign collected $7,900. His political committee did not report any fundraising.
Eggers will start April with $43,510 in cash on hand. And he’ll need that funding if he faces current state Rep. Chris Latvala, who has raised more than $100,000 for his Pinellas County Commission bid.
However, it’s still unclear if Latvala will be running for the District 4 Commission seat, and if he’ll do so in 2022 or 2024.
