Deja Fooey; pitcher injuries piling up again for the Rays

by The 100 Companies

Forgive the Rays if they’re having bad flashbacks to their injury-plagued 2021 season.

Less than two weeks into the new season, they’re already placing pitchers on the injured list. That’s after they had a staggering 38 pitchers miss time last season because of injuries but still won 100 games.

Those out now include Ryan Yarborough, JT Chargois, Shane Baz, Luis Patino, Brendan McKay, Pete Fairbanks, Nick Anderson and Tyler Glasnow. Fairbanks could return in June while Anderson is out until the second half of this season. Glasnow, recovering from Tommy John surgery, is expected to miss all of this season.
