Bolts back on track with shutout of Buffalo

by The 100 Companies

After a recent skid that saw the Lightning lose four consecutive games for the first time since 2020, the Bolts turned things around by battering Buffalo 5-0 Sunday at Amalie Arena.

The win lifted the Lightning into third place in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference.

Goaltender Brian Elliott recorded his first shutout as a member of the Lightning as Andre Vasilevskiy got the night off.

“Obviously, we know what we have in Vasy, an unbelievable goalie, but you can throw Moose out there and he’s going to give you a great chance to win,” defenseman Ryan McDonagh said.
