The Florida Aquarium and Tampa General Hospital have announced an expanded partnership to bring a new, on-campus animal health center, which is expected to open later in 2022.
The Tampa General Hospital Animal Health Care Center will showcase to visitors firsthand the medical care the animals receive from the Aquarium’s veterinary staff.
“A healthy animal collection furthers our ability to save wildlife from extinction through practice, science and research, and understanding,” said Roger Germann, CEO of The Florida Aquarium.
“Advancing the health of the Tampa Bay region also means taking care of the environment around us.” said John Couris, TGH CEO.
