NFL designates Bucs to play a game in Germany

by The 100 Companies

The Buccaneers will participate in the National Football League’s first-ever game in Germany in the upcoming season.

The date and opponent for the regular-season game will be announced later.

“We look forward to participating in the first regular-season NFL game in Munich, Germany later this fall as part of the International Series,” Buccaneers Owner/Co-Chairman Joel Glazer said.

The game will be played at FC Bayern Munich Stadium.

Because of this game, the Bucs will have only eight home games instead of nine. Each of the NFL’s 32 teams will be designated for one international matchup every eight years.
