Lightning ready for some outdoor hockey

by The 100 Companies

The Lightning will be in at Nissan Stadium in Nashville on Saturday night as part of the NHL’s stadium series.

The NHL has scheduled at least one outdoor game each season since 2008, but this will be the first time the Lightning will participate. The Bolts are the 27th league franchise to play outdoors.

The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. The weather forecast Saturday in Nashville calls for a 30% chance of rain and a low of 33 degrees.

The NHL team of 250 people that puts on outdoor games began preparing this one more than a year ago.
