Houses in St. Pete were a hot commodity last year, according to a new report from Porch. That report showed 64.2% of St. Pete house listings were off the market in less than two weeks, with homes on the market for a median 13 days.
The report was made with data from Redfin, including more than 250 cities across 46 states.
St. Pete ranked No. 26 on the list of fastest-selling mid-sized cities. The median sale price was $303,206 in 2021.
Home buyers are facing higher prices and reduced inventory, although the severity varies across cities and states, according to the report.
