Tampa Bay’s Winner and Loser of the week

Winner: Titus O’Neil. He has made a career out of giving to his community and state, and now he has a chance to do more. Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried appointed O’Neil – whose real name is Thaddeus Bullard – to the Florida State Fair Authority’s board of directors. O’Neil gained fame in professional wrestling and is noted for philanthropy and civic involvement in Tampa Bay.

Loser: Stu Sternberg. He spent about two-and-a-half years trying to sell the idea of splitting the Tampa Bay Rays’ season between here and Montreal, only to have Major League Baseball’s executive committee turn thumbs down. Next plan up!
