Republican State Rep. Nick DiCeglie Tuesday announced he’s endorsing Brian Scott for the Pinellas County Commission District 2 seat.
Scott is set to face off against fellow Republican Debbie Buschman for the countywide seat. Both hope to unseat incumbent Pat Gerard, who’s served on the commission since 2014.
Scott is the president of Escot Bus Lines and has served as director of the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority.
“Brian Scott is an experienced businessman, local leader, and conservative fighter,” DiCeglie said. “I am confident that he will bring a conservative voice to our local government that we need now more than ever.”
