Cross-Bay Ferry to run for Gasparilla Children’s Parade, will sit out main parade

The Cross-Bay Ferry will offer service for the Children’s Gasparilla Parade, but will sit out the season’s main event, the 2022 Gasparilla Pirate Fest and parade.

The ferry shuttles passengers between St. Petersburg’s Vinoy Park and the Tampa Convention Center. On Jan. 22, the day of the Children’s Parade, the ferry will depart St. Pete at 10 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 4:45 p.m. and 9 p.m. It will depart Tampa at 11:30 a.m., 3 p.m., 6:15 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Coast Guard restrictions prevent the ferry from operating during the pirate invasion Jan 29.
