by The 100 Companies

Despite losing the championship game in the American Athletic Conference tournament, the USF women’s soccer team earned their fifth-straight NCAA Tournament bid.

USF will host North Carolina State Sunday at 1 p.m. The Bulls, regular-season AAC champions, lost the tournament title game against Memphis on penalty kicks after the game was tied following regulation and overtime.

The USF/NC State winner will move on to play the winner of the Pepperdine/South Dakota State game in the second round on Nov. 19.

The Bulls finished No. 22 nationally in the NCAA’s RPI ratings, used to help determine which teams receive at-large bids.
