Equality Florida to host Final Day of Action GOTV Push for Ken Welch

Equality Florida Action PAC, the state’s largest political committee working to elect pro-equality candidates, will host a day of action this Saturday to promote Ken Welch and a slate of endorsed City Council candidates.

The event, which will kick-off at 10 a.m. at Punky’s Bar and Grill, will feature leaders from across St. Pete’s vibrant LGBTQ community.

Nadine Smith, the organization’s executive director, will headline. Other speakers will include Darden Rice, state Rep. Michele Rayner-Goolsby and former state Rep. Jennifer Webb.

Equality Florida’s endorsed Council candidates will also join, including  Copley Gerdes, Gina Driscoll, Richie Floyd and Lisset Hanewicz.
