The Buccaneers surely won’t lack motivation Sunday afternoon when they host the Chicago Bears.
The Bears defeated the Bucs last season in Chicago 20-19, but the bigger story is quarterback Tom Brady lost track of downs in the final minute while trying to drive the Bucs for a come-from-behind win.
On fourth down in the closing seconds, Brady tried to force a pass to Cameron Brate, who was well-covered. It fell incomplete, but Brady stayed on the field for a few seconds, believing he had another down.
He did not.
Currently, the Bucs are 5-1 and lead the NFC South.
