The Morean Arts Center and SHINE St. Petersburg Mural Festival are partnering to host the 7th Annual SHINE Exhibition, which will be open through the end of October. Started in 2012, the annual exhibition gives street artists a platform to showcase their work.
“I love it when people come to the gallery after seeing an artist’s mural, and you see the light-bulb go off: ‘Hey, I saw this artist’s work on the wall at the Brewery,'” said Amanda Cooper, Morean Arts Center’s curator of exhibitions.
The exhibition is free, and an opening reception will be held the evening of Oct. 15.
