St. Pete City Council candidate Lisset Hanewicz now has support from half the members of the current board, with new nods from Darden Rice, Brandi Gabbard and Amy Foster in her bid for the District 4 seat Rice is leaving due to term limits.
City Council member Gina Driscoll previously endorsed Hanewicz. She faces Tom Mullins in the Nov. 2 General Election. So far, no sitting Council members have endorsed Mullins.
Mayor Rick Kriseman also endorsed Hanewicz, a former prosecutor.
“Lisset’s legal experience and passion for our neighborhoods and schools make her the ideal candidate in this race,” Kriseman said.
