Winner: Tampa International Airport. The area’s crown jewel was recognized nationally again. TPA finished second among the nation’s large airports in the annual J.D. Power North America Airport Satisfaction Study.
Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport was first.
Tampa has held a top-five ranking since 2015.
Loser: Anna Paulina Luna. A judge denied the Republican congressional candidate’s request for a permanent restraining order against former political rival William Braddock.
Luna accused Braddock of plotting to have her killed. A judge ruled the actions did not meet the legal definition of harassment, but added, “Mr. Braddock, do not come back here.”
