The Buccaneers gave an electrified sellout crowd at Raymond James Stadium lots to cheer about Thursday. They rallied to beat the Dallas Cowboys 31-29 on Ryan Succop’s 36-yard field goal with two seconds left.
But the night belonged to quarterback Tom Brady and receiver Chris Godwin.
After Dallas took a 29-28 lead with 1:29 to play, Brady engineered an 11-play, 57-yard drive to set up Succop’s game-winner.
Godwin, whose fumble at the goal line gave Dallas life late in the game, redeemed himself with a 24-yard reception putting the ball at the Cowboys’ 18 yard line with 24 seconds left.
