John Morgan endorses Ken Welch for St. Pete Mayor

Attorney John Morgan, head of notable law firm Morgan & Morgan, has endorsed former Pinellas County Commissioner Ken Welch for Mayor of St. Petersburg.

In a tweet posted Tuesday, Morgan wrote, “I endorse @KenWelch for Mayor of St. Pete! Ken is #ForThePeople! Let’s help him do great things.”

Morgan, known for his “For The People” logo, amassed a fortune from his class action and personal injury law firm. He also served as an adviser and fundraiser for Democratic Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.

Welch responded to Morgan, writing, “Another #PartnerinProgress. Just like you, I’m #ForThePeople! Welcome to the team John!”
