St. Petersburg City Council member Darden Rice is backing colleague Gina Driscoll for reelection, Driscoll’s campaign announced Monday.
Driscoll is seeking her second term in District 6.
“Gina Driscoll has built a reputation for inclusive, collaborative leadership to move St Petersburg forward,” said Rice, who is running for Mayor. “From affordable housing and food security to COVID response and infrastructure investment, Gina is always looking out for our residents and creating a stronger city.”
Rice joins fellow City Council members Ed Montanari, Robert Blackmon, and Brandi Gabbard in endorsing Driscoll.
District 6 includes parts of southeast St. Pete including Coquina Key.
