St. Petersburg City Council member Gina Driscoll has announced endorsements from nine regional leaders in her District 6 reelection bid.
Those supporters include Safety Harbor Mayor Joe Ayoub, Gulfport Vice Mayor Michael Fridovich and North Redington Beach Vice Mayor Richard Bennett.
Tampa City Council members Guido Maniscalco and Joe Citro also endorsed Driscoll.
Largo Commissioners Michael Smith and Eric Gerard, along with Clearwater City Council member Kathleen Beckman and Dunedin Commissioner Jeff Gow are also backing the incumbent.
Driscoll has reeled in a substantive list of supporters, most recently Sen. Darryl Rouson and congressional candidate and state Rep. Ben Diamond.
